Dr. Xie will introduce his remote sensing working on cryosphere studies, specifically in applying ICESat/ICESat-2 to study sea ice, glaciers and glacier lakes. As a Fulbright Scholar, he will also introduce his current project on Icelandic snow cover and depth changes under the warming climate.
